Dance workshops in partnership with Chaillot – National Theatre for Dance, Accès Culture and Acajou company.
Around a common goal: make dance accessible for all people with a handicap. The companies BurnOut and Acajou, the association Accès Culture, as well as the Théâtre national de Chaillot have joined together to offer workshops.
During three weekends in November 2017 as well as in February and May 2018, the choreographer Jann Gallois approached the understanding of movement and the relationship to the body, time, and space through the prism of dance with blind and visually impaired people.
Sharing her art has also allowed Jann Gallois to nourish her choreographic research: “[…] It is also and especially the gift of human encounters that was the main motivation in initiating these workshops. Maybe it is these experiences that will feed my next creation or become the basis of inspiration for even another piece – time will tell! For right now I am letting my instinct guide me ’blindly.
