Carla Diego

Born in Barcelona, she studied classical dance from the age of 12 and completed her training in jazz, contemporary and hip hop dance. She followed multiple workshops with renowned choreographers such as Ohad Naharin, Hofesh Shechter, Fernando Hernando Magadan, Richard Siegal or Sharon Fridman. Carla has performed in numerous musicals in Madrid (Hoy no me puedo levantarLos 40El musicalLa Belle et la Bête) and danced for spanish companies Lasala, Poliana Lima, and Iker Karrera. She continues her professional career as a teacher, choreographer and dancer in parallel with her studies at the Maria de Avila Superior Conservatory of Madrid. Since 2016, she took part in choreographic competitions and festivals, notably with Nexo(s), selected at the Red de Cielo Abierto in 2018, and La viva muerte, selected at the 32nd Certamen de Madrid and awarded the DanceWeb scholarship of ImPuls Tanz in 2019. In 2019, she joined the BurnOut company for the creation of Samsara.
